Risk Retention Group (RRG) Insurance Forms and Information

State laws applicable to risk retention groups can be found in South Dakota Codified Law (SDCL) Title 58, with particular emphasis in SDCL Chapter 58-6A.

Anyone writing business through insurance companies not licensed in South Dakota including Risk Purchasing Groups and Risk Retention Groups is required to have a Surplus Lines Broker license. Surplus Lines Broker information is available on the Broker Information webpage.
