Licensing and Registration Forms

Competitions/Contests

No boxing, kickboxing or mixed martial arts contest may be held in South Dakota without the approval of the Athletic Commission. Requests for approval of a contest must be submitted to the Athletic Commission at least 14 business days prior to the contest on a Competition Registration Application Form (Adobe PDF format). Complete the form(s) online, then print, sign (if applicable) and mail to the address below, along with the required fees and documentation.

No contest may be promoted or advertised without approval of the Athletic Commission.

Participant Licenses and Registrations

All boxers, kickboxers, mixed martial artists, judges, matchmakers, managers, promoters, referees, seconds, timekeepers and ringside physicians must be licensed or registered with the Athletic Commission. The required fees and documentation must accompany the form (more coming soon).
