Public Deposit Protection Commission
The South Dakota Public Deposit Protection Commission is charged with verifying that all public deposits in South Dakota are fully insured. South Dakota Codified Law (SDCL) Chapter 4-6A established the Public Deposit Protection Commission in 1974 and designated the Director of Banking and State Treasurer as the two members of the Commission.
