Career Ready SD

Career Ready SD connects educators to businesses through work-based learning experiences. This program increases student awareness of career opportunities and helps them make informed decisions as they enter the workforce. The program provides resources for high school students to complete opportunities such as job shadows, internships, and work experiences. For more information, visit the Career Ready SD website.

DLR has organized resources to assist with incorporating career information in the classroom in the Work-Based Learning Toolkit.


Job Corps

Job Corps is a free education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED®, and find and keep a good job. For eligible young people at least 16 years of age who qualify as low income, Job Corps provides the all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life.
