Celebrating South Dakota Veterans
| Did you know South Dakota is among the states with the highest percentage of veterans among the population 18 and older? Veterans make up 8.3% of our adult population. In fact, only Alaska (at 10.1%), Wyoming (9.4%), Virginia (9.2%), Maine (at 9.0%), Montana (8.9%), and South Carolina (8.4%) have a higher percentage of veterans among their 18+ population. |
