Get QCEW employment data from the virtual LMI data system.
Employment by industry data (from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages program based on workers covered by unemployment insurance) is available for the following areas:
Statewide | Metrpolitan Statistical Areas | Counties OR you may select an area from a map.
Simply follow these steps:
If you want to change the default setting in number four above, follow additional steps to select specific industries.
Please note: The system may react slowly when selecting multiple areas or industries, and some computers may time out before the data has been successfully retrieved, especially if you have selected multiple time periods as well.
Tip: At any point while using the virtual labor market data system, to clear all prior selections, click on the "Labor Market Analysis" link in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
