Mike handles administrative and policy-making decisions, investigations, complaints, and drafts legislation and rules.
Melita Hauge, Program Assistant
Melita is responsible for processing all securities, franchise and business opportunity registration applications and renewals. She answers preliminary questions concerning securities, franchise and business opportunities and assists the Director in all facets of the general operation of the office.
Erin McIntyre Menkhaus, Enforcement Attorney
Erin conducts investigations to determine compliance with securities, franchise and business opportunity law. She takes regulatory action to enforce the law whether based on information received by the division or through investor complaints.
Leonore Friez, Investor Education/Registration Specialist
Leonore promotes financial literacy by presenting course instruction to high school teachers and speaks directly to students about saving and investing. Reviews securities filings, franchise offering circulars and business opportunity documents.
Connie Streff, Compliance Examiner
Connie conducts in-house broker/dealer and investment adviser examinations to assure compliance with the law. In addition, she reviews the state investment adviser applications and the amended brochures for compliance and registration.
