Electric File & Microdermabrasion Education
The South Dakota Cosmetology Commission requires education prior to using a microdermabrasion machine or electric nail file. These are one-time educational requirements. Documentation must be sent to the Commission immediately upon completion of any course. A $35 verification fee must be paid by the licensee to the Commission if the education provider is not approved by the Commission. The providers on the list below are approved providers for South Dakota licensees, so the licensee does not have to pay the $35 verification fee to the Commission.
