![]() How Do Your Benefits Measure Up? As you face the challenges of a limited labor pool, how attractive is your benefits package in hiring and keeping employees? Compare your benefit offerings (such as health insurance and paid leave) to those of other employers using the Labor Market Information Center's (LMIC) Employee Benefits data. You can even compare to those in your industry and size class. The online data shows the percentage of employers offering insurance, retirement, leave and other benefits (e.g., child care, tuition assistance, bonuses, etc.), with breakouts for those employing full- and/or part-time workers. More detail is available on insurance and leave benefits, namely the percentage of insurance premiums paid by the employer and the average number of leave days provided. Data is also available on the monthly costs to employers for providing benefit packages. Contact LMIC at 605.626.2314 with any questions or for assistance using the Employee Benefit Survey data to evaluate the competitiveness of your benefits packages.
