Monthy Newlsetter to Employers from The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation

 
The Department of Labor and Regulation will be launching a new SDWORKS jobs database. Our target date to go live is Monday, April 3.

Earlier this month, a new version of South Dakota's largest jobs database and management information system, SDWORKS, was launched. The upgrade in technology offeres a better customer service experience and job matching.

To register or post a job to SDWORKS, visit sdjobs.org.

South Dakota's Labor Market Information Center (LMIC) has tons of data that can be useful to employers like you. Learn how to access labor market data for informed decision making. LMIC can offer occupational wage rates, industry employment trends, unemployment rates and labor force data.

DLR Summer Tour

You're not in this workforce development game alone. DLR continues to seek out solutions to business needs. Secretary Marcia Hultman will be traveling on a speaking tour to visit with communities about some of the essential services DLR has to offer.

Speaking dates will be in June, July and August and take place in communities around the state. Check with your local Kiwanis, SHRM, or workforce committee for more details. Finalized dates and times will be added to the DLR events calendar.
