Unemployment Insurance Benefits
Payment Methods – Debit Card or Direct Deposit
All unemployment benefit payments are made electronically. The State of South Dakota partners with USBank to provide unemployment claimants with the Reliacard Visa debit card. Your benefits will automatically be direct deposited to your card.
Direct deposit is also available into your own checking or savings account. To enroll in direct deposit, complete the direct deposit enrollment form located on the back side of the Reliacard information sheet that is included in your claimant packet. You can also log into your online unemployment account at www.sd.uiclaims.com and select the “Change Payment Method” option on the main menu.
See our Frequently Asked Questions about the Debit Card page.
