Transcripts/Verifications
Transcripts for those who tested after January 1, 2002
If you tested for the GED® in South Dakota after January 1, 2002, duplicate GED® test transcripts and state diplomas are provided by GED Testing Service. Visit www.GEDcomputer.com to request a duplicate transcript or diploma. Payment must be made at the time that duplicate documents are requested via debit (personal or prepaid) or credit card. Duplicate transcripts cost $10 and duplicate diplomas cost $15.
Transcripts for those who tested prior to January 1, 2002
If you tested for the GED® in South Dakota prior to January 1, 2002 and would like additional copies of your transcript, you have two options.
You may complete the GED® transcript request form online (in Adobe .pdf format*), then print and send it in with the $5 fee, using cash or a money order. No personal checks.
Or you may write a letter to our office. Please include the following:
- Name (the name you used when you tested)
- Current address and phone number
- Date of Birth
- Social Security number
- When and where you tested
- Address to which you want the transcript sent
- Your signature (required)
- $5.00 fee as cash or a money order. No personal checks.

Verifications
Requests for verification should be sent to us at the address below. The request must include the examinee's signature and statement saying the examinee is releasing the scores. We do not accept personal checks or credit cards. We will process your request within three days of receipt. Mail the form, or your letter, and fee to:
