Testing - Homeschooling
Home schooled students must be registered with their local school district. At the time the student is ready to take the GED®, the school district must be notified. The Home School - Permission for GED® Testing and Release of Information form indicates the school has been notified and the student is being dropped from the student rolls.
The student is required to take the Official GED® Practice Test to demonstrate readiness. Contact a local Testing Center or adult education program for locations and times available for taking the practice test.
The parent or guardian must sign the Authorization to Test form if the student is 16-17 years old.
Contact a local Testing Center for more information and assistance.
