Home schooled students must be registered with their local school district. At the time the student is ready to take the GED® test, the school district administration must be notified and sign the Underage Testing Waiver form, which indicates the school has been notified and the student is being dropped from the student rolls. The parent or guardian must also sign the form if the student is 16-17 years old.
