Applying for Testing

You must contact your nearest local GED® testing center to sign up for the test(s) and learn about the testing center's schedule for testing and fee payment. You will also be required to complete the U.S. Demographic Form, available only at official GED® testing centers. The only exception is for military personnel, who must use the Universal Application Form furnished by the GED® Testing Service. Call them at 202.939.9478.

Contact your local testing center to see how many tests you may take on one day. We strongly recommend you take only two or three at a time.
