Skills Used in Occupational Profiles

Skills indicate the developed capacities that are most important for workers in the occupation to posess. Skills listed include basic skills that facilitate learning or the more rapid acquisition of knowledge; complex problem solving skills used to solve novel, ill-defined problems in complex, real-world settings; resource management skills used to allocate resources efficiently; social skills used to work with people to achieve goals; systems skills used to understand, monitor and improve socio-technical systems; and technical skills used to design, set-up, operate and correct malfunctions involving application of machines or technological systems
