Complaints

The South Dakota Abstracters' Board of Examiners investigates complaints about the services provided by licensed Abstracters.

Filing a Complaint

• Complaints must be filed in writing and notarized. (Use the Complaint Form available in Adobe .pdf format*.)
• Complaints must clearly and succinctly identify the facts and circumstances surrounding the situation arising to the complaint.
• The complaining party must attach to the complaint copies of any pertinent documents or evidence supporting the complaint.
• Send your completed complaint forms and any documentation to the Board at:
