South Dakota Athletic Commission
All mixed martial arts (MMA), boxing and kickboxing competitions are subject to the approval of the South Dakota Athletic Commission. Competitions must be approved by the Commission prior to being promoted.
All competitors, promoters, managers and other participants must be properly registered or licensed with the Commission prior to participation in a competition.
Scheduling
It is the policy of the South Dakota Athletic Commission to approve no more than three competitions per month, subject to Commission availability to attend the events. The Commission will not approve weigh-ins or events on federal holidays.
Promoters, please see our Meetings page for dates of upcoming meetings, along with the corresponding deadline for materials to be submitted for commission consideration of an event.
